This is not only to keep you up to date on things that we will be making for the bake sale, but also to help people recognize the symptoms of autism and Asperger's Syndrome. - September, benefit concert for Taylor. We have 5 acts already to go. If you know anyone that would like to perform in this benefit concert, please contact me at bakingawish@yahoo.com This is a family friendly concert and we want to keep it calm. No alcohol will be allowed. Also a raffle drawing will be there, and food for sale.

- I started this blog to run a bake sale to get my brother to Disneyland when he was released from the hospital for nearly a year. We made it. We got him there. I appreciate all those that bought baked goods from us. I appreciate all that bought jerky from us. It was a lot of work. A Southern California trip for six people is so expensive... but he loved his time there. We all did.

Thanks so much for the kind words through email and phone calls. I appreciate it. Also thanks to my team that are sending random acts of kindness to me via my daughter. We had a fantastic meal tonight courtesy of the Willefords. I need the recipe. I also had tamales last week from Sandra, and some pastas sent home to me by John C. I know Sheila tried to get me some food but it was a really bad medical day. Thanks for all of your kindness everyone. It touches our hearts deeply.
Also, Anita sent home food to Shiela, and Shiela cooked meals out of it, and they are really tasty meals. It is so sweet of both of you ladies. On top of that, Shiela made me the nicest blanket. I was so touched. That is so sweet of you Shiela. Thanks for being such a great friend ladies.
My team was going to give me a gift card last week but handed me cash. It was so sweet of them. The $25 went for groceries. Thanks again so very much.
As for sending cards for Taylor: The answer is, since he is in a controlled hospital, they need to be sent to us and we can take them to him. He can only receive mail from people on our list of family there. The address can be sent to you if you email us. We will take it into the hospital with us when we go next.
Again, the kindness of others always amazes me. What caring hearts and you are all blessings to our family.
